South Georgia Tech’s Jackson appointed Community Service Chair of Southern Region Action Council

South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) Marketing Management student Kimberly Jackson of Americus was recently appointed Community Service Chair of the Southern Region Action Council (SRAC) based on her merits and involvement with SGTC’s Americus chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL).

The SRAC is a team of members dedicated to assisting in the expansion of PBL’s Southern Region and the promotion of national programs. Jackson says she has a passion for service and she “can’t wait” to serve the Southern Region members of PBL.

As a student at South Georgia Tech, Jackson has earned numerous accolades, including being named PBL President for SGTC’s Americus chapter, Student of Excellence; first, second, third, and  fourth place finishes at PBL 2013 district competitions; Who’s Who in PBL, and is the Vice President of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) and a member of Student Leadership Council (SLC) as a Marketing Management Representative.
